Dr. Vikas Dave is an Indian litterateur and journalist currently serving as the Director of the Madhya Pradesh Sahitya Akademi.[1] Appointed on 26 August 2020, his initial three-year term was extended until 2026 by the Ministry of Culture.[2]

Dr. Dave has made significant contributions to Hindi literature and journalism:

  • Served as editor of the children's monthly magazine 'Devputra' for 26 years
  • Provided editorial support to magazines such as 'Seva Prerna,' 'Jagrut Yugbodh,' 'Chautha Vishwas,' and 'Yuva Darpan'
  • Edited notable works including 'Katra Katra Roshni,' 'Veer Garjana,' and 'Swadeshi Chetna'[3]
