Alelee Aguilar
Alelee Aguilar (born February 29, 1976) is a Filipino businesswoman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist from Las Piñas City. She is known for her active involvement in programs supporting the arts, youth, women, LGBT, and senior citizens.[1] Aguilar currently serves as the Vice President of VAA Builders and is the founder of Luxuri Manila.[2]
Early Life and Education
Alelee Aguilar was born into a prominent family in Las Piñas City. She is the daughter of former Las Piñas Mayor Vergel Aguilar[3] and current Mayor Imelda Aguilar. Her siblings include: Las Piñas City Vice Mayor April Aguilar[4] Dermatologist Aivee Aguilar-Teo[5] Cock fighter Budjit Aguilar[6] Aguilar attended PAREF Woodrose School and later earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Management from De La Salle University. In 2012, she passed the Real Estate Brokers Licensure Examination from the Professional Regulation Commission. She further enhanced her skills by attending a Digital Marketing program at Harvard Business School in 2023.
Career and Philanthropy
Alelee Aguilar has made significant contributions in both business and philanthropy: Vice President of VAA Builders Founder of Luxuri Manila Recognized as a Best Dressed Woman by the Philippine Cancer Society in 2011[7] Founder of Siargao Artiste in Residence, an art residency initiative that invites foreign artists to Siargao Island[8]
Personal Life
Alelee Aguilar is married to journalist and former Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar. They have two children, Alexa and Vince.
