Shantanu Naidu was born in Pune, Maharashtra, India, in 1993. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.[2] During his time as a student, Naidu developed a passion for social causes, particularly animal welfare, which would later play a significant role in his career and connection with Ratan Tata.[3]

Goodfellows

In 2021, Naidu founded Goodfellows, a startup aimed at providing companionship to elderly citizens by connecting them with young graduates. The initiative seeks to combat loneliness and bridge the generational gap.[4]

Motopaws

Naidu also founded Motopaws, a social initiative that provides reflective collars for stray dogs to enhance their visibility at night and prevent road accidents.[5]
